Located in in the small town of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Legacy Creamery (legacycreamery.com) is offering a unique spin on your traditional ice cream parlor. Instead of serving up traditional flavors of ice cream, they have mastered the art of delicious gelato. Created in small batches, they had multiple options to choose from. I chose the Ferrero Rocher flavor (one of my favorite chocolates!) and it tasted exactly like the actual candy. The consistency was creamy and had the perfect ratio of chocolate and hazelnut flavor. They also make their own waffle cones in bright, fun colors. The location of Legacy Creamery also sets it apart, it's inside a former Coca-Cola bottling facility. It has beautiful, old brick walls inside that still exist from the original factory. 100% of the proceeds goes to the Eli Grow Legacy Foundation in memory of their late son. The young woman who greeted us upon entering was very friendly and offered samples of all flavors we requested to try.
